Video Presentation Resources and How-tos
Throughout a course you may create and record a variety of presentations to share in your course. Use the resources below for best practice and technology tips that will take your presentation style up a notch!
USING ZOOM: GENERAL HELP
Zoom is one of the friendlier web meeting tools, which is why we use it at New England Tech for our online courses. You may have used Zoom in other online courses for class meetings or team meetings. We recommend using it to record your presentations too.
NOTE: We recommend a computer with webcam and audio to attend a meeting. However you can use your smartphone or tablet if you do not plan to record the session.

RECORDING A ZOOM PRESENTATIOM
You can use Zoom to record meetings or use it to record individual presentations. How do you do this?--By creating a meeting where you are the only attendee! Follow the steps below for recording a Zoom session.
NOTE: You will need a computer with webcam and audio to record in Zoom. The Zoom mobile app or Chromebook app requires a paid account to record.

Adjust your settings in Zoom. Click on the settings icon
in the upper right side of your Zoom screen. Choose Recording from the left navigation bar. Check the boxes beside “Record video during screen sharing” and “Place video next to shared screen in recording.”
- Start a meeting using the computer's audio
with your

- If you are including visuals from your computer, share your screen

- Before you start your presentation select the Record button.
