Welcome to Calculus II

I hope you are excited to continue your journey towards an engineering degree here at NEIT. Please start looking around the Canvas course to familiarize yourself with the layout and how things will work.

Each week we will go over a lecture and you will work on classwork during class, and you will have homework outside of class, which will be submitted through Canvas.

Lecture: Please take notes and ask questions. Try not to miss any classes.

Classwork: Work completed either by yourself or with a partner, where you can work out the kinks from class with me to help you. Must be completed in class. There is no make-up for classwork, but the lowest two are dropped.

Homework: Questions in a "Canvas quiz" that you will answer inside Canvas. You must show all work on a separate piece of unlined (printer) paper. This work must be submitted in class on the due date. No work=no credit.

Multiple Choice Quizzes: On the day of each test review, you will take a 10-question, multiple choice quiz.

Tests: There are two tests as well as a comprehensive final exam. Make-ups are only given during extreme situations.

Textbook: The textbook is free online (see Textbook and Additional Resources) but you may purchase a copy through the link if you prefer a hardcopy. I suggest downloading the pdf, so you can read the book offline. Links to certain sections will appear on Canvas, also.
