Accessing Canvas

Canvas Student.png Never accessed Canvas? Not a problem! With a few easy steps, you'll have access to your online classroom.

All of your courses can be found in Canvas. You can get to Canvas directly at neit.instructure.com, (you're already here!) but the most common way to access Canvas will be through TechNet Links to an external site., NEIT's student portal. Follow these two easy steps to find the Canvas platform:

1. Log into TechNet Links to an external site. first, using your 9-digit student ID and password.

If this is your first time logging into TechNet Links to an external site., you may receive prompts to set up "challenge questions" and your mobile phone information. This information allows you to reset your password on your own should you forget it (instead of having to contact the Help Desk). 

If your password isn't working, the Help Desk can reset it for you. Please contact the Help Desk at 401-780-4111 or helpdesk@neit.edu.

2. Click on the Canvas icon to enter Canvas. 

Now that you are logged into TechNet, you are automatically logged into the other NEIT services. This includes your college email (Outlook), Canvas, and Web For Students (Banner).
